Does an Indian BPharm degree have any value in the US market? You cannot work as a pharmacist in the US with a BPharm degree. Those who wish to work specifically as a pharmacist in a clinical setting, have to get a PharmD degree. Those who wish to work in the industry, generally do a BSPS (Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences) and then do their MS/PhD. BPharm degrees are considered equivalent to BSPS. Indian BPharm graduates do not stand anywhere close to US PharmD grads in terms of clinical knowledge and dispensing pharmacy. The Indian BPharm curriculum is more inclined towards industry. Hence, their stand is justified. What branch is good in the US after a B.Pharmacy in India for my master's? Do in either of this two branches: Pharmaceutics & Pharmacology These two core fields of pharmacy are wide spread whole over the world. If you want to get a global outlook then do in any of this. Universities like Harvard and Kings college or NUS also has these subject areas....
